The line was old and not in great shape. Original owner. This reel is ideally suited for a larger creek or smaller river setup 4-5wt. I typically fish big western rivers anymore and no longer need or use this reel.

There are a few scratches on the drag knob but spool is not bent and functions flawlessly. Rare to find this model anymore. The line and backing that were on it I removed.
