God Bless Avet for making left handed reels. You can see by the photos, it is in excellent condition - not beat up like most used reels. This reel has been used 3-4 times per year since I bought it new at the Fred Hall show before COVID. After each use I rinsed thoroughly with Salt Away, and dried it.
They are big bucks, so. Spooled with 40# white Spectra Power Pro braid. LEFT HAND Avet SX 5.3 in silver and gray. Ready to go for the upcoming off-shore season.
It has never let me down, catching lots of Tuna, Dora do, and Yellow tail off the San Diego coast. It has been stored in doors since new, and it had a protective cover on new. This one has to go. The reel was just serviced by Ricks to make it ready sale - its super tight and smooth!, I'm selling because I want a Dora do design custom painted reel, as you know.
