It still looks to function as it should, but is not attractive. I have another one of these reels I purchased them together that is essentially identical including the problem with drag control wheel. I am always happy to combine shipping on multiple buys. Replacement wheels are available if appearance is a concern.

#111 Okuma Convector CV55 Heavy Duty Trolling Reel - reel is in VERY GOOD OPERATING CONDITION and I would say the same about cosmetic appearance if it Wren't for star drag on most not all of metal plating control wheel has flaked off material under that pretty seriously corroded.
