Kids were not, and are not into fishing like our father. They may have got used 3-4 times. He basically did three things, worked, fished and hunted.

Two, used, Master 401RD 401Y, open face fishing reels. And we remember our dad talking about them being perfect for pan fishing, so he must have used once or twice. They both run smooth as should.

There are no real features on them other the drag, and crank reverse lock. These two reels are some of the ones our father had for grand kids. You get both reels, spooled up with 6 lb line for one price. These are great for ice fishing or younger kids because they simple and easy to operate, basically nothing break.
